Who is Christina Psalm
For many years, my life revolved around the sea, carrying with me weight gain, weight loss, gut issues, skin problems, anxiety that hovered above all my achievements and depression when everything seemed to be going well. I worked on luxury yachts, constantly moving between ports, climates, and time zones. On the outside, it might have looked glamorous: turquoise waters, sun-kissed beaches, endless horizons. But behind the scenes, my body and skin were telling a different story. There were also moments of real danger that tested more than just my endurance; they tested my nerves, my body, and my ability to stay calm when everything felt like it was falling apart. I have lived through fire breaking out on board, through nights when the anchor dragged and we came terrifyingly close to crashing into the rocks. I have felt the shudder of the yacht colliding with another vessel, and I have held on as furniture splintered and slid across the floor while we sailed into storm-tossed seas. Each docking in a tight, unforgiving space sent my cortisol soaring, my heart pounding like a drum. Living with that kind of constant adrenaline felt like riding a carousel you could never get off, and it left its marks, both inside and out. My days were long and unpredictable. Meals were rushed, often eaten standing in the galley or grabbed at odd hours between shifts. Some days, I would go for hours without eating; other days, I’d overcompensate with whatever was quick and available. My gut never had a chance to find its rhythm, and I began noticing subtle changes: bloating, fatigue, and a general sense that my digestion just wasn’t working the way it used to. My turning point came one particularly exhausting season when I returned to shore and decided to stop chasing quick fixes. I began studying nutrition, focusing on how food, stress, and environment work together to influence both gut and skin health. I learned how to feed my body in a way that restored balance, calmed inflammation, and supported natural repair, from the inside out. Today, I help my clients do the same. I understand the frustration of feeling like you’re doing everything right on the outside but still struggling with your health from the inside. I know what it’s like to juggle work, life, and self-care in less-than-ideal conditions. And I know, from personal experience, that transformation starts in the gut, with simple, sustainable changes that ripple outward to every part of your wellbeing. My approach isn’t about perfection or restriction. It’s about creating a reset that fits into your real life, nourishes your body deeply, and helps you finally feel at home in your own skin. If I could find calm in the middle of the ocean, I know you can find it in your own life, too. With Love, Christina
